Boiler Servicing
An annual boiler service helps make sure that your boiler is operating safely and efficiently and catches any small problems before the become big problems. An annual service is required on all new boiler installations in order to preserve your manufacturers warranty. It is also a legal requirement for landlords to have their gas boilers inspected every 12 months.
Boiler Breakdowns
If your boiler breaks, you might start to fear the worst – but more often than not, it probably won’t be as bad as you think. At Griffiths Heating, we’ve been repairing boilers for nearly 30 years, and in our experience, most issues can be resolved quickly – and, more importantly, won’t end up costing you the Earth.
We also have an exceptional level of spare parts on hand, ensuring we have the best chance of fixing the fault on the first call-out and getting your house back to feeling like home again as quickly as possible. You will be charged a call-out and diagnostic fee to attend to your boiler breakdown. This charge covers the first hour’s labour – if we identify and repair the fault within that hour, the only extra you will pay is for the parts used.

For total peace of mind, why not take out a GH Boiler Care Plan to insure against any costly breakdowns?

Our billing rates are honest and transparent and include VAT.
Our boiler service is a thorough safety, performance, and compliance check carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We inspect key components, check combustion and operating pressures, clean and service critical parts where required, verify flue integrity and safety devices, review controls and system operation, and complete full commissioning and certification paperwork. The aim is not just to keep the boiler running, but to ensure it is operating safely and efficiently.
Our heat pump service is a full performance inspection and optimisation of your system, not a cosmetic check. We carry out electrical and mechanical health checks, measure and log system temperatures and delta-T, assess glycol freeze protection and water quality, inspect filters and strainers, review and optimise control settings, and service the associated unvented cylinder and safety devices. Each visit includes a documented service report with logged readings and recommendations.
